We have recently signed a deal with Pro Action Cameras who are now offering our full range of action cameras on their websites. Pro Action Cameras was established back in November 2009 and have soon become a market leader in their field not only in the United Kingdom but also establishing a base over in Calgary, Canada.

Since the launch of the new X Cam Pro and Full Bore Marketing becoming our Canadian distributor the brand has taken an incredible jump from where it was over twelve months ago. We are constantly researching our range of action cameras to ensure we remain competitive and keep up to date with the latest camera technologies.

Full Bore Marketing have recently teamed up with the X CAM to distribute our range of Action Camera systems in Canada on a national level. We launched the X CAM brand less than a year ago so this is great news for everyone.

You will soon be able to purchase action cameras from the X CAM range in… all major Motorcycle dealerships in Canada.

Here at the X Cam, our team are all crazy extreme sports people who love nothing more than going out on a weekend smashing up the Peak District on the Mountain Bikes that were kindly donated to us

Before we actually got into the action camera market we used to stick our digital cameras to our helmets, looked totally stupid and used to get some stick from the other bikers but what the heck, we had fun not to mention broke a good five or six cameras. It was at that point that we decided to do something about it and look into sourcing our own action camera systems.

Yet again, we hit the road (on the free Mountain Bikes) travelling up and down the UK trying to find something of interest or for something that would help us find or even design our own range of action cameras which could be used in extreme sports. With the help of a few friends and a bit of digging online we found a manufacturer and soon started building the X Cam brand.

Months went by, we tried and tested over 15 different action camera models constantly looking for “the one” and one day whilst again, out on the bikes, we had one camera that had something cool about it. The weight was low, the quality was brilliant and most importantly we could enter it into the market at a good price that would suit distributors, wholesalers and retailers.

The X Cam was born that day and thanks to a local web design company we had a new website built as well as a very strong brand image which included a logo, packaging design, facebook and twitter branding as well as our own marquees and promotional literature.

A year down the line and the brand is all over the UK, being sold online and is soon to be entering other countries…

Following a hard year established the X Cam action camera range we have now attracted a huge dealer network, have the product in many stores across the UK and are currently in talks with a number of motorsport companies who are looking at taking a range of the cameras for their race teams.

The X Cam Pro has become one of the best motorsport cameras on the market today. Unfortunately we cannot take the title for the best camera as we all know that the Go Pro Hero Motorsport wipes the floor with any other system, however, the Go Pro does not suit every racing driver or motorsport team so thankfully there is still a place in the market for the X Cam Pro.
